Battlefield Writers is a collective of authors and poets who meet in the Southside of Glasgow, and who have published three books compiling their work, Tales From The Battlefield, Beyond The Battlefield and Tales From The Southside.

Ian Goudie is a former defence worker who has contributed to numerous defence-related publications. Since retiring, he has had a play staged, and several poems and pieces of fiction published.
